Silent Waves (2003) - Moving into a completely new direction, Busch experimented with digital color on a very expressionistic level. Tim Wride (LACMA) compared Busch's "Silent Waves" to Rothko paintings and Thomas Schirmboeck (Mannheim Museum, Germany) writes: "His series of frail images is breaking the traditions and codices of contemporary stylish photography by moving the whole subject one step closer to a painterly attitude."
